Message to Prep Team Members:
Guys, its been a long season, and you've worked your butts
off. This is our first year, but with the amount of work you guys have
put in, there is nothing we cant do. We have a chance in a few weeks
to do something no prepper has ever done before. We have a chance to
win an Ultimate City Championship, we have a chance to win a championship
in our first year. Other teams may think we arent good enough, i dont
know about you guys, but id like to prove some people wrong.
I will be contacting local news stations, newspapers,
sports programs etc. continuously until the games. If you would like
to help, all you have to do is send a quick email to one of these stations
(ive put together a list of direct links to contact pages) - abc,
cbs, nbc,
wb (866-WB17-TIP)
You can use the sample message below, and just copy and
paste it, or you can write your own...
To Whom it might concern:
My name is ______, I am a member of the St. Joseph's Preparatory
School Ultimate team. Sunday, May 16th, at CB East High School in
Doylestown will be the 5th PHUEL City Championships. PHUEL is the
high school ultimate league in the Philadelphia area, there are more
than 16 teams in the league from all over the Delaware valley.
Ultimate is a widely popular sport that is constantly growing, PADA
the adult league in the Philadelphia area has more than 1,000 players
every year in their summer league. The sport is based on the spirit
of the game, which emphasizes competetive play, but never at the expense
of respect between players.
I am contacting you because i think a story featuring the City Championships
would go over well with your viewers, and to at least let you know
that there is a city championship goin on. If you would like more
information about ultimate, the championships or Prep ultimate in
particular, visit: http://in.sjprep.org/ultimate/
Thank you for your time.
