Founded in 2002 by AJ Sehfart (Class of '03), the team started out relatively slowly, they participated in one tournament, Mikey's Spring Thing, a hat tournament. But they never played as a team.

One year later, in the fall of 2003 the team really started to take off...

They entered their first tournament, the fall leage championships without ever playing a full regulation game. There were 11 of them at the tournament, led by senior captain Austin Connors and junior captains Matt McCabe, Mike Panna and Steve Iannelli. The rest of the team consisted of juniors Luke Matthews, Garrett McInnes, Dan Corse, and Tom Harker, sophomore Alex Jones, and freshman Tom McCabe.

They ended up at 1-3 against more seasoned teams that had taken part in the fall season. But the team did not go home empty handed, they walked away with 6th place and the Spirit Award. This might not sound like much, but a spirit award in Ultimate is equivelant to an MVP award in other sports. The trophy from that tournament now rests in the halls of the prep trophy cases.
